Our story

About BuyTogether Africa

Together, we buy better. BuyTogether Africa is being built to help South African households combine their orders for everyday essentials, starting in Gauteng.

Our Mission

Give households access to collective buying power. When enough confirmed orders join a campaign, the group can unlock a negotiated bulk price from a supplier.

Clarity Before Commitment

Our approach is simple: publish the price, minimum order requirement, deadline and fulfilment options before asking anyone to join. Campaign progress must reflect confirmed orders, not invented activity. Cancellation and refund rules should explain what happens if a group does not meet its target.

Where We Are Today

The marketplace is in development. Explore available catalog listings, but do not assume group campaigns or payment integrations are live unless their terms and availability are explicitly shown. Our ambition is to grow beyond Gauteng while keeping reliable information and community at the centre.
